Day Five: Great Falls, MT to Whitefish, MT

We had a nice, relaxing morning today for the first time since we started. We all slept in until 7ish, had a delicious breakfast at the hotel, and checked out around 10.

Since we only had a short drive to Whitefish today, we spent some time exploring Great Falls before leaving. First, we went on a mission to find some initials on a sidewalk. Our neighbor, Cassie, used to live in Great Falls, and had told us she had carved her initials in the sidewalk there when she was a teenager. It was only a couple of minutes away from our hotel, and we found it pretty quickly!

Then we headed over to Rivers Edge Trail and Giant Springs State Park. It was beautiful, albeit a little windy!

We grabbed some smoothies at Electric City Coffee and hit the road. We only had a four hour drive to Whitefish, so we arrived before dinner.

We had our first snafu today - something hit our windshield and cracked it. Yikes. So we'll have to figure out what to do about that tomorrow. Luckily, we're at our cabin in Whitefish for a few days now.

Speaking of the cabin, it is sweet! You would've thought we walked into a mansion, from our excitement over having all of this space for a few days.

After getting set up in the cabin, we went out to town and got some sushi for dinner, and grabbed a few groceries. They have the cutest little coffee huts all over the place. We're in love with this town already!
